• From now until June 15th, apply weed and feed to control broadleaf weeds in your lawn. For those close to lakes and rivers, we also have a phosphorus-free weed and feed.
• Applying a pre-emergent such as Preen for flower beds and planters will cut down on summer weeding, giving you time to enjoy your garden instead of constantly working in it. At the same time, add Miracle-Gro Shake and Feed – work both well into the soil and water down. Twice the result!
• Before your perennials grow too large, contain them with our large selection of support rings, linking stakes, and bamboo stakes. You’ll love your peonies and Russian sage more if they’ve been controlled early on in their growth habits.
• After you’ve assisted your plants with the above, apply a fresh covering of mulch. We have the area’s finest selection of mulches, including shredded hardwood, hemlock and red pine. We also have a variety of colored mulches, playground chips and coco shell mulch.
